IRCTC GOES OFFICIAL ON ANDROID: DOWNLOAD NOW...!!!!!

IRCTC (Indian railway catering and tourism corporation) has now officially launched its app called the IRCTC CONNECT


Back in the days of august, IRCTC launched its official ticket booking app for the BlackBerry OS (v10), and it was 5MB in size. and now IRCTC has officially launched its app for android OS, If you wondering that the app that you are currently using is also named IRCTC mobile booking/online booking, yes you are right but that app is not official app Ie.launched by the IRCTC management, anyways moving on lets talk more about the app in details.




The app is available in the playstore now, (links are in the description) and is about 12MB in size, let me tell you that this app is compatible with  devices running Android v4.1 (jellybean) and up, that might be a problem for some.   

This app like is much like other apps and allows users to book railway tickets, check reservation status, train routes, recent history, train schedules, cancellation and check availability of tickets, etc. This official app comes with features such as login for existing users, get upcoming journey alerts and it also allows users to directly register from the app itself, and IRCTC has also provided a detailed user guide for first time users
