Android 5.0 released and is named Lollipop, its claimed to be the sweetest release yet by Android.
ANDROID LOLLIPOP :
Google unveiled its new version of android on 15th,October, 2014, and its called android Lollipop which was code-named android L since it developers preview held back at Google I/O June,2014.
and it's Android's biggest release till date, and features more than 5,000 new APIs for developers, this new version of android also features new battery-saving features, new lock screen, improvement in notifications,better multitasking and a brand new visual treats dubbed the "Material Design".
The security concerns had always been an area where android had scope for improvements, and it did so in this update, promising better security in this new version of android Lollipop. It even uses an even faster run-time named ART and it stands for Android run-time instead of the previous dalvik and various other performance upgrade in this new version of android Lollipop, besides this there are many new smaller updates applied all over in this upgrade which we will cover later, once we get our hands on it.
