ASUS ZENFONE 4 : REVIEW AND HANDS - ON..!!


OVERVIEW:
Asus  unveiled a bunch of new devices at its press conference, which include a line-up of Zenfones, namely the Zenfone 4, a 4" screen-size device, Zenfone5, a 5" screen-size device and the Zenfone 6, a 6" screen-sized device,  there is a screen size for everyone..!! All the three  Zenfones are powered by an Intel Atom processors with hyper threading technology, which makes it special. Today we will be taking a look at the zenfone 4

SPECIFICATIONS :
4 inch 480 x 800, capacitive touchscreen, with a density of 233 pixels per inch, and it comes with a Corning  Gorilla Glass 3 protection
5 MP, rear camera which can record video's at 1080p, and a front facing camera (without flash)
Android OS, 4.3(JB) which is upgradable to 4.4.2 (kitkat)
Dual-Core 1.3GHz CPU, Powered by Intel Atom Z2520.
PowerVR SGX544MP2, GPU.
And Li-Po 1600 mAh battery, with a talk time of up to 10 hours


LETS GET STARTED :
The Asus Zenfone 4 is the smallest among the three devices and the most affordable, at around Rs.5899, but its also a bit thicker among the three. The Zenfone 4 comes in 4 different colours, Which  include White, Black, Gold and Red  colours. The zenfone's body mainly consists of matte plastic, and it is a dual-SIM phone. At the front is a 4.0 inch Screen, with capacitive controls below, the left side consists of a microUSB for charging/data connectivity, while  the right side consists of power/lock-unlock key and the volume rockers, the back is made up of plastic cover, which is interchangeable with different colours. Below it is the dual  sim-card slots and the battery, the top part of the phone has a 3.5mm audio jack and the bottom  only has a microphone pinhole

PERFORMANCE :
The Asus Zenfone 4 has a very snappy performance, all thanks to the intel atom processor on-board with hyper threading technology, and it also  has a very great feel to it in hand. We tested it using Antutu Benchmark and Nenamark Benchmark which gave scores of  15013 overall and 52.9 FPS which is quite good, and is also a little bit better than the moto e (based on benchmarks).
The zenfone 4 is definately to be considered while on a budget below Rs.10000
